Building Regulations
Structherm’s systems meet and where possible exceed current Building Regulations. All systems are subjected to rigorous testing and approved by the BBA.
Newbuild
- Part E – Acoustic Performance
We use dense concrete in floors and wall which achieve excellent results. We can also offer various thicknesses of panels to achieve varying levels of performance. - Part L – Thermal Performance
The Fastbuild system provides a very air tight structure with high thermal mass that when combined with insulated cladding materials exceeds the requirements of Part L. - Part A – Structure
- Fire
The concrete used in the Fastbuild system will provide 1 hour fire resistance without the need for expensive secondary fire protection. - Disproportionate Collapse
We have standard approved details that satisfy the requirements for Class 2A and 2B structures. These details have been tried and tested on numerous projects and have been ratified by LABC.

- Part L – Thermal Performance
The range of Structherm’s External Wall Insulation systems are able to exceed the thermal performance required by the Building Regulations both for newbuild and refurbishment projects. The monolithic render coatings provide an excellent air tight envelope to the buildings.
