Structherm | Thru-Wall
Thru-Wall is suitable for application up to any height, onto buildings with steel or concrete main structures. Thru-Wall creates a robust, insulated and contemporary rendered façade. Structherm offers bespoke solutions to often complex designs.
The Thru-Wall system allows rapid enclosure of the structure achieving a dry envelope in the shortest possible time. This allows other trades to begin earlier in the construction programme reducing time on site and cost.
Some of the major benefits of Thru-Wall include:-
- Speed of erection - fewer stages of construction facilitate rapid enclosure of the building envelope.
- Optional pre-assembly – the light gauge steel frame can be pre-fabricated and delivered to site ready for installation. This time saving method is ideal for tight programming, however does depend on site restrictions.
- Robust - the structural panel used in the system has a high impact resistance of 10N/m. Combining a 24mm base coat and top coat decorative render provides exceptional durability and total life cycle performance for the building.
- Flexible design capabilities - linear and curved facades are easily achievable, this combined with the wide range of rendered finishes available offers the designer unlimited aesthetic variations.
- Factory made components - materials, components and quality management systems are covered by BS EN ISO 9001:2000. The manufacturing process ensures the system performs to structural and thermal design expectations.
- Varied thermal and acoustic performance specifications - a wide range is available depending on building type and requirements of the client.
