John McPake – Technical Sales Manager - Scotland


Structherm, the UK’s only manufacturer of structural external wall insulation systems has strengthened its presence in Scotland with the appointment of a new technical sales manager.

 

John, who has worked in the industry for more than 15 years, will be responsible for raising the awareness of Structherm to specifiers and architects in Scotland. He will have a particular focus on the social housing sector educating them in the benefits of external wall insulation for refurbishment of their housing stock.

 

John is extremely well versed in external wall insulation systems and has a great deal of experience in the sector. His knowledge and expertise will be invaluable to clients and customers.

 

John comments, “I am really looking forward to this new and challenging role and building on the already established market. What sets Structherm apart is its unique structural system plus a focus on providing the best technical solution for clients.”

 

John will be able to showcase Structherm’s solutions when it exhibits at the CIH Scotland Housing Festival in March as part of the company’s strategy to further establish itself with in the Scottish market.

 

“Over the years I’ve developed an understanding of the needs of specialist customers, and how best to fulfil them,” continued John, “and I’m looking forward to bringing my own expertise of the Scottish market to this role.”

Wauchope and Greendykes

The City of Edinburgh Council has numerous high rise blocks built in the 1960’s and 70’s, two of these blocks were Wauchope House and Greendykes House. Construction of both blocks was carried out by Cruden Ltd in 1966 and contain 86 flats each over 15 storeys.
