Technical Sales Manager appointed
Structherm, the UK’s only manufacturer of structural external wall insulation systems have appointed of a new technical sales manager – Steve Easey.
Steve is highly experienced and well know within the EWI and renders industry. He began his career “on the tools” serving his apprenticeship in rendering and plastering.
His first commercial role came in 1998 when he joined Knuaf Marmorit in the UK as Projects Manager where, as a founder member of the initial Marmorit venture into the UK market, Steve was responsible for the development of the applicator network and managing the projects through the commercial process until completion.
After more than 5 years at Marmorit Steve then joined Natural Building Technologies as Technical Sales Manager where he spent nearly 4 years before joining Saint-Gobain Weber in March 2008.
Over the 11+ years Steve spent at Weber Steve’s initially represented the company as Applications Manager (Renders & EWI) where he was responsible for training and development of the applicator network as well as monitoring the quality of installation on-site. He then changed role to represent the company as Area Sales Manager for the South West where he was responsible for sales of render and EWI throughout the South West and South Wales region.
