Structherm have released a new case study covering the Treuddyn Enveloping Scheme.

The project covered the refurbishment of 14 properties for Flintshire County Council and was installed by Thomas Niamh Contracting Limited.

The 14 homes were of cavity wall construction, but the wall ties and cavity wall insulation had failed. This in turn made the houses cold, expensive to heat and structurally unsound, so a solution was needed to remedy this and improve the thermal efficiency of the homes.

This project showcases the expertise of our technical team and versatility of our structural system. Working with the client the team considered the issues specific to this project, and tailored the system to meet its need.

The case study is available now, and you can read and download it here.
